Major Updates Planned for September 3rd

Dateline | Tagvillage

Aug. 28, 2012

On Monday, September 3rd, 2012 the development team plans to publish several major updates to the website. These updates will change the BackOffice and many other pages our members are familiar with. As we get nearer to the release of the Publisher and Advertiser Platforms, we need to modify the site with navigational enhancements. These enhancements will make it easier for members to interact with the site for various purposes. To simplify the website, we have decided to transform from a single BackOffice to multiple DashBoard layers.

The default DashBoard will be the Tag Trader Dashboard. This new management interface will have all the standard links and tools (My Referrals, My Tag Inventory, My Tag History, etc.) along with several new reporting features. We plan to implement charts and graphs that will allow you to see in a quick glance how your tagvillage business is performing. We hope our members will appreciate the time and effort we put into this new, informative DashBoard system.

In addition to the Tag Trader DashBoard there will be separate dashboards for Causes, Publishers, and Advertisers. Each DashBoard will supply the member with the proper links and tools to manage their profiles and accounts. For example, if a member is an approved Advertiser, they will see the Tag Trader DashBoard and the Advertiser DashBoard. Each dashboard will provide our members the necessary systems to interact with the site according to their needs.

UPDATE: If you login to the website on or after Monday, September 3rd, 2012 and you cannot see the site or it appears messed up, you need to clear your browser history and cache. The easiest way to do this is to login and then press CTRL+F5 at the same time. This will reload a clean copy of the site and clear your cache from your browser.
